1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. shortening
1 Tbsp water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Blend first 5 ingredients and beat well. Stir the remaining ingredients until blended and add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Add 2 c. miniature chocolate chips.

Shape into 1 1/4" balls. Roll in icing sugar. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375º for 7-9 minutes. Do not overbake.
