2 cup flour
1 ½ cups sugar
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
½ cup soft shortening
½ cup orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening until light and fluffy. Add eggs, orange juice and vanilla and beat. Add flour, salt and baking powder slowly. Be careful not to overbeat. Can be mixed by hand. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans

Bake 350 for 20-25 minutes.
