2 1-ounce squares semisweet chocolate
1/3 cup hot water
1 ½ cups sugar
1 tablespoon butter
¾ cup cream
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the chocolate in the water in a double boiler over low heat. Add the sugar, butter, cream and salt. Cook for 10 minutes, or until the sauce begins to thicken. Add the vanilla extract and serve at once over ice cream.
