500 g margarine melted
3/4 cups brown sugar (vary acount to taste)
2 eggs
500 ml buttermilk
1 kg self raising flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 pkt raising bran (cereal)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat margine and sugar.
Add eggs and buttermilk.
Mix together flour, baking powder and salt and add to wet ingredients
Add 1 packet of raising bran.
Put in pan and bake at 180 º for 40 mins. Return baking tray to oven at 100 º for 6 hours.
Any dried fruit can be added as required.
