Ingredients:  
3 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Set aside.

Cream 1 c butter
Add:
¾ c sugar
1 unbeaten egg
2 T milk
1 ½ tsp vanilla
Beat well.
Blend in dry ingredients

Chill dough 1 hour
Roll out 1/3 at a time to ¼ inch thickness
Cut into shapes
Place on ungreased cookie sheet
Sprinkle with sugar
Bake @ 400 degrees for 5-8 minutes
