Put 3/4 cup catsup in skillet and add the following:
1 chicken -- skinned on top
1 cup Coke

Simmer 30 minutes with the lid on and 30 minutes with the lid off.

Boneless chicken breast or other parts could be substituted.

This is another recipe I found in Mom's handwriting. She sent it in a letter after we moved to NM. I chuckled at the direction for the chicken to be "skinned on top."
