Sauerkraut (either from homemade, bought in a jar or bag)
3 tbsp. bacon drippings
1 apple --- chopped
1 tbsp. caraway seeds --- optional
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook sauerkraut for about 1 hour on low heat
2. Add 3 tablespoons bacon drippings.
3. Chop up one peeled apple and add to this mixture.
4. Add 1 tablespoon caraway sees if desired.
5. Add 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
6. Cook again for about 1 hour
7. Call me with any questions.
(Goes wonderfully with potatoes dumplings)
