Double pie crust recipe
12 peaches
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
Directions:
Directions:
1. Roll out 2 pie crusts
2. Peel peaches and cut up
3. Mix together peaches with spices and other ingredients.
4. Pour peach mixture into lower pie shell.
5. Cover with top pie crust.
6. Seal edges well---so no spillage runs over in oven.
7. Bake at 400 for 1/2 hour---then reduce heat to 350.
for another 1/2 hour---then cool on rack for 2 hours.
8. Call your "peachy dad" to come and eat it with you.
