Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, about 4 lbs. (the cheaper the brand the better, for fat content: Purdue/tyson)
1 chicken flavored large bouillon cube
1 med. onion, whole
1 med parsnip, whole
1 med turnip, whole
6 carrots cut in bite size chunks
1 bunch of dill to float on top
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in large pot. Add enough water to just cover the chicken. Add all other ingredients. Simmer at low boil for 90 minutes. Do not stir the dill into the soup. Remove parsnip, turnip and dill.
Remove chicken and remove the meat. (keeping the chicken separate makes it easier for non-chicken eaters to have a bowl)

Serve with alphabets for the children and wendy. Serve with wide noodles for Greg.

If cooling overnight, remove oil from the top before reheating.
