3 pounds chicken wings, fresh or frozen
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 T each; ground mustard, ground ginger, garlic powder or
Cut up chunks of fresh or candied ginger and use fresh garlic- much better

Directions:
Directions:
Place soy, water, butter, sugar and spices in a deep saucepan and stir until it comes to a boil, and the butter and sugar have completely melted. Pour over raw chicken wings in a deep bowl, and marinate for one night.
Remove overnight marinade and wings from refrigerator
Cook in shallow pan 375º for 40 minutes until crispy and dark brown, or grill outside, usually about 1/2 hour depending on heat

This recipe is sooo dang good! I first had it at a fiber artists workshop where I learned to braid rugs. You will love it!!

Also, make sure to line baking pan with aluminum foil to prevent having to scrub for 6 hours.
