1 lb. finely ground nuts
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine. Set aside ½ cup of mixture for topping.

3 sticks margarine
4 egg yolks
4 cups flour
¼ cup milk
¼ cup warm water
2 pkgs. dry yeast
2 jars/cans apricot filling

Directions:
Combine yeast in warm water and set aside. Using dough hooks, combine flour and margarine like pie crust. Add slightly beaten egg yolks, milk, and yeast mixture. Blend batter till it pulls away from sides of bowl. Continue to knead a few minutes. (if not using dough hooks – place on floured board and knead a few minutes).
Divide dough into 3 sections. Roll first section and place on slightly greased, 15 x 10 x 1 1/2 “ cookie sheet. Put nut filling over dough. Roll second section, place on top of nut filling, and top with apricot filling. Roll third section and place over filling. Prick with fork and let raise one hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Beat 4 egg whites. Slowly add 10 Tablespoons of sugar. Beat till stiff. Spread on torte and top with ½ cup nut/sugar/cinnamon mixture. Return to oven for about 5 minutes or till lightly brown.

Let cool. Cut into little squares and place in 1 ¾” paper cups.
