2 cups pecan halves
4 cups powdered sugar (divided)
2 cups margarine
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups flour
½ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
In processor, finely grind nuts with ½ cup powdered sugar.

Using small bowl – beat margarine till creamy.
Add 1 cup powdered sugar, beat until fluffy.
Beat in nut mixture, salt and vanilla.
Add flour.

Chill 1 hour.

With floured hands, roll level 1 ½ teaspoons of dough into 2” rope. Shape into crescents. Place 2” apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees.

Remove from cookie sheets and let cool till warm.
Roll warm cookie in powdered sugar.
Let cool completely.
Roll in powdered sugar again.
