2 medium sized oranges
1 lemon
1 quart of water
3 cups of granulated sugar
3 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 quarts cranberries (app. two 8 oz bags)
½ cup seedless raisins
½ cup dried currents or golden raisins
1 ½ cups toasted slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cut up oranges and lemon and coarsely chop in food processor.
Place chopped oranges and lemons in 1 qt. water in heavy pot and boil uncovered for 25 minutes or until rind is tender.

When rind is tender, add granulated and brown sugars to pot.
As soon as sugar is dissolved, stir in cranberries, raisins, and currents.

Let mixture come to a boil and boil hard, uncovered, stirring frequently to prevent scorching, for 5 minutes.
Mix in almonds.
Continue boiling rapidly and stirring for 5 to 10 minutes longer until mixture is thick and jelly-like.

Makes about 4 quarts.
Recipe can be halved if desired.

Ladle mixture into prepared Mason jars and process in water bath for 10 minutes for half-pint jars, 20 minutes for quart jars.
