Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 can peas
1/2 onion
3-4 cloves garlic
2-3 tsp basil (freshly chopped)
2 tbl parsley (freshly chopped)
1 lb pasta (not angel hair, shells work best)
4 tbl olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Crush garlic & chop
Slice onion very thin
Saute oil, onion & garlic until onions are translucent
Drain & rinse peas
Add peas and 1/2 can water to garlic & onions along with basil & parsley
Cook for 15 minutes
Cook the pasta al dente then drain and mix with peas
Salt and pepper to taste
Add grated pecorino Romano cheese & serve
