1 lb. lean ground beef
1 med. onion diced
4 cloves garlic
1 med. red bell pepper
one 15.5 oz pinto or northern beans drained and rinsed
1 1/2 C tomato sauce
2 T tomato paste
1 T red wine vinegar
1 T unsulfured molasses
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dry mustard
3/4 tsp salt
black pepper to taste
Whole wheat hamburger buns

Brown the meat and onion in a large skillet over medium high for five minutes, discard the drippings. Add the garlic, bell pepper, and cook five minutes longer. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the buns of course, and simmer for five minutes. Serve and enjoy!
