1- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Cream butter or margarine and sugar. Note: margarine will make a more flat cookie. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Spoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 8 minutes.

We love to make ice cream sandwiches with these cookies. Spread slightly softened vanilla ice cream on the underside of a cookie. Top with a matching size cookie. Freeze for several hours until hard.
