Directions:
In skillet saute three bacon slices until crisp. Remove and crumble. Add 1/2 cup minced onion and saute until tender.
In bowl combine 2 cups toasted 1/2 inch bread cubes, crumbled bacon and sauteed onions.
In another bowl combine one 16 ounce can tomatoes, 2 tbsp. brown sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper.
Alternate layers of bread cubes and tomatoes in a greased, one qt. casserole, ending with bread cubes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
