1/3 cup sugar
4 eggs
2/3 cup skim milk
1 tsp, vanilla extract
3/4 tsp. maple extract
8 slices cinnamon raisin bread
2 cups apples. peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/4 cup cream cheese
1 T. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Spray 8x8 pan with nonstick spray. Blend 1/3 cup sugar eggs, milk and vanilla and maple extracts in medium bowl. Tear cinnamon bread into small pieces. Toss bread and sliced apples with egg mixture in bowl. Coat bread evenly and pour into prepared pan. Cut cream cheese into 8 chunks and place on top. Blend remaining 1 T. sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle over strata. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350º and bake 40-50 min or until lightly browned and st. Serve immediatly.
