Holiday Pumpkin Loaf with Glaze Recipe

Pumpkin Loaf:

3 c. Bisquick baking mix
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 can 16 oz. pumpkin
1 teas. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teas. ground cloves
1/2 teas. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts


1/4 cup butter
1 c. powdered sugar
2-4 T. hot water

Mix all ingredients.

Beat 30 seconds on low, then beat on medium for 4 minutes.

Grease 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

Bake at 350
1 hour and 10 minutes

Remove from oven, and let stand 10 minutes. Remove loaf from pan.

Heat butter until brown.

Remove from heat, and add powdered sugar and hot water. Mix until smooth. Frost loaf with glaze.
