3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cups milk (Vit D not 2%)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
Bananas, sliced
Vanilla wafers

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar, salt, flour & eggs in top of double boiler. Add milk slowly, stirring well. Cook until thick & smooth. Remove from stove & add vanilla. In dish, put layer of vanilla wafers & a layer of banana slices, then a layer of pudding. Repeat. Refrigerate.

There is special meaning for me (Mom) - my grandmother used to make this for me for every birthday in a special bowl---which she passed down to me when she died. THE best banana pudding ever from one special GrandMother!
