1 broiler-fryer, 2 1/2- 3 lb. cut up
1/3 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
4 T. butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. grated orange peel
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger

Directions:
Remove skin from chicken. Coat chicken pieces with a mixture of the flour and salt. Brown in melted butter in skillet, turning once. Meanwhile combine remaining ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook slowly 35-40 min. or until chicken is tender. Serve remaining cranberry sauce w/chicken.
