2 cups unsifted flour 1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups sugar 2 eggs
2 stickes margarine 1 tsp. soda
4 tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup coke 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and sugar in bowl. Bring margarine, cocoa and coke to boil; pour this over flour and sugar. Add milk, soda, eggs and vanilla. Batter will be thin, do not use mixer. Bake in oblong greased and floured pan for 30 min. at 350 degrees.
ICING: 1/2 margarine, 4 tbsp. cocoa, 1 cup nuts, 6 tbsp. coke, l tsp. vanilla, enough powdered sugar
to make a spreading consistency. Heat margarine and cocoa to boiling point. Pour this over pwd. sugar; add nuts and vanilla. (Let cake cool for 10 minutes, before pouring on the icing).
