1-2lb Ground beef
2 small can tomato sauce (paste if you like thicker sauce)
3 large cans crushed tomatoes
1 lg onion, chopped
6 cloves, garlic
pepper
oregano
basil
granulated onion
granulated garlic
salt

Directions:
Directions:
brown beef adding onion and garlic about 1/2 way through, drain.

add all other ingredients and simmer.

Dry ingredients are to-taste, I find myself adding a good mound of each. Start with 2-3tbsp of each (except the salt) until you find your preference.

This basic sauce can get you out of the jarred rut.

Add mushrooms if you like. Maybe a little red wine for depth? How about 1/4c EVOO? It's your canvas!
