1 lb ground sausage
1/4 c. butter
1 medium onion, chopped
4 stalks of celery, chopped
1 garlic clove minced
1 lb. dried bread cubes
1 c. turkey or chicken stock
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. poultry seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown and crumble sausage in skillet, drain and leave grease in pan. Add butter to pan and let melt. Add onions, celery and garlic and saute' until softened.
2. Combine bread cubes and seasoning, add sausage, and cooked vegetables. Mix well and stir in stock a little at a time.
3. Rub inside of turkey with salt, stuff mixture into turkey, do not over pack.
4. Put leftover dressing in a greased baking dish. Cover and bake at turkey temperature (325º to 350ºF) for one hour.

I don't usually put the stuffing in the turkey. I like to just use this recipe as a side dressing with the rest of my Thanksgiving dinner.
