Ingredients:  
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup banana
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup sour milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs one at a time, then add milk.
Add all dry ingredients, stir well. Add bananas. Beat. Mix in vanilla and nuts. Grease 2 small loaf pans and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
