5 c flour
1/4 c sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c shortening
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Sift dry ingredients together and cut in shortening with pastry blender. Add buttermilk to dry ingredients. Add yeast. Mix well. Roll out to 1/4 inch and cut with round cutter. Dip in melted butter and fold in half. Bake on cookie sheet at 400 for 15 minutes or until done.
