Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1/2 cup butter
2 Tbs. flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, whisk in flour. Add sugar and stir until butter is absorbed. Add slowly, whisking constantly heavy cream and cook til thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

You will remember this from The Lodge--I used it on Apple Pie and ice cream, apple dumplings and we put it in our coffee drinks.
