1 1/2 lbs round steak-cubed
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
1/2 cube butter
1 can 4 oz sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup onions diced
1 cup sour cream
1 pkg. Lawry's stroganoff mix
1 pkg Minute Rice

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat into tiny cubes - put into mixing bowl and toss with flour and seasonings until well coated. Then brown in butter approximately 15 min. Add mushrooms and onions. Stir in water (enough to cover) and simmer for 1 1/2 hours then add Lawry's mix and 1 cup hot water. Let simmer 1 hour more. Add sour cream and serve over rice. Yummy!

Mom used to start cooking around 3:00. To modify this for those who are not home during the day, cook meat in a crock pot in beef broth. Then mix in the other ingredients when you get home.
