2 T. salad oil
1 c. honey
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 c. all purpose flour (don't sift)
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. whole bran or fine wheat germ
1 c. pineapple juice
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl blend together well salad oil, honey and egg. Stir in flower, baking powder, salt, bran or wheat germ and pineapple juice until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in nuts. Pour batter into a greased 5x9 loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until cake tester comes out clean.
