2 c Cranberry Juice
1 6 oz bag if sweetened dried cranberries
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup sugar (optional)
2 Gala apples, peeled cored and diced
2 tsp. corn starch

Rachel's input If you add sugar add a little at a time to taste as a lot of people like the sweet/tart mix.

Prep Time 10 min, Inactive prep 20 min Cook Time 15min

In medium saucepan over medium heat, add cranberry juice, cranberries, cinnamon and sugar (optional) Bring to boil and let cook for 5 minutes. Add apples and cook, stirring occasionally until cranberries have softened and apples are tender about 5 min. Remove 8 oz, of liquid to small bowl and whisk in cornstarch, slowly add constarch/juice mixture. To cranberry mixture, stirring constantly cook addtional 5 mins. Remove from heat & pour into a serving bowl. Refrigerate until thickened. 30-60 mins. and serve.
