Dough
3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 tsp baking powder
3 eggs beaten
2 tbsp soft shortening
2 tbsp vanilla

Filling
1 large pkg chocolate chips
1 can condensed milk (sweetened)
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

Dough
Make a well with combined dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix and roll into a ball and cover.

Filling
Heat milk on top of double boiler - do not scorch. When milk is warm add chocolate chips and nuts. Turn off heat.

Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness (may be easier to divide into 4 balls then roll out). Spread chocolate mixture on dough and roll it up.

Bake at 375º for 15 minutes. Slice into cookies when done.
