2 cans clams (such as Gorton's)
2 cloves garlic
1 shallot, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
lemon
Parmesan
salt and pepper
1/2 pound pasta
Good crusty bread

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and place in serving dish.

Heat saute pan and add olive oil. Saute garlic and shallots until transparent - about 2 - 3 minutes. Add juice from cans of clams but hold back clams. Heat until just boiling. Add clams and saute until heated (couple minutes) - don't overcook or they'll get tough.

Pour over pasta and toss. Salt and pepper to taste. Toss or top with parmesan and squeeze lemon juice over all.

Serve with crusty bread.
