1/2 C. pork jowl
2 pears
4 C. fresh green beans
white pepper
salt
1/3 C. Water

Directions:
Directions:
In a pot fry 1/2 cup finely cubed pork jowl. Remove fat from pork cube reserving 1 T. of fat in pot. Add 2 pears cut into 1/8ths into the pork rendering and gently saute for 20 minutes.
Add four cups fresh green beans, cleaned and rinsed along with 1/3 C. water, cover and slowly simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Season with whipte pepper and seasoning salt.
