2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. margarine, melted
1 c. water
5 T. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk ( add 1T. vinegar to milk to sour it)
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in bowl; sugar and flour. In saucepan melt margarine, water and cocoa. Bring to a boil, and then pour over flour and sugar mixture and mix well. Add buttermilk ( add 1T. vinegar to milk to sour it), eggs, baking soda, salt, vanilla and cinnamon. Put in greased sheet pan. Bake 400°F for 25-30 minutes. For frosting, sprinkle with powdered sugar, ice with Nocilla, or make a fudge icing or hot fudge sauce. Freezes well.
