Mom's Recipe


3 pears, peeled, cut in large chunks
1 cup fresh cranberries
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 T. fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal
1 T. butter
1 T. flour
1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)

Combine pears, cranberries, syrup and lemon juice in square cake pan.
Combine topping ingredients and spread over the top of the pears.
Bake at 400 for 10 minutes and then turn temperature down to 350 and bake for 20 minutes.
Serves 4
