1/2 cup unsalted butter
6 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
8 to 12 Tbsp milk
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter, sugar, vanilla and milk in saucepan over medium heat. Add milk to desired consistency. Add food coloring to achieve desired color. Frost cookies, sprinkle on sugar or candies before frosting cools. Place wax paper under cooling racks to catch frosting and sprinkles. Warm frosting up if it starts to set up before you have frosted all of your cookies. Once frosting has set on cookies stack cookies in a storage container.
