5 Cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
2 Cups sugar
2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp almond extract
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, sugar, eggs, almond extract and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt & baking powder. Add wet mixture to dry mixture and mix well. Take mixture out of bowl, divide into 2 or 3 batches on wax paper, wrap up & put in plastic bags and refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll a small portion on a floured surface to 1/8 in thick. Cut out cookies and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 375º for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool cookies on cooling rack. This cookie dough freezes well, just put it in the refrigerator the day before you bake.
