8 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup melted shortening
3/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1/8 tsp black pepper
4 jigger's whiskey or wine
2 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add sugar, cocoa, and spices. Add shortening and liquids, then mix with electric mixer at low speed (or blend by hand). Add nuts. Form dough into small balls (a little smaller than a meatball). Press top lightly.

Bake at 350º for about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and dip immediately into a chocolate frosting. Cool on wax paper.
