1 c. milk
16 large marshmallows
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1 large package lime Jell-O
Large can crushed pineapple with juice
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. Cool Whip
1 large package red Jell-O (strawberry, cherry, etc.)

Directions:

Melt in saucepan over low heat milk, marshmallows and cream cheese. Add lime Jell-O and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat and cool until thickened. When cool fold in pineapple, nuts, mayonnaise and Cool Whip. Pour into 9x13 inch pan and chill until firm. Make red Jell-O according to package directions. Allow to cool to room temperature. Do not place in refrigerator. When cool carefully pour red Jell-O over green layer. Refrigerate until firm and cut into squares.

Editor's note: Two Toned Christmas Jell-O goes "way back" in the Kramer family. Kathryn served it at a family dinner celebrating Bev and Dale's wedding in December 1959. In December 2009, Bev and Dale served it at a family dinner celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary!
