Paula Jarland

1 lb hamburger
1 cup onion, chopped
2 cans beef bouillon
1 3/4 cans water
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup celery, diced
2 cups potatoes, cubed
1 1/2 cups chopped cabbage
2 tsp salt
1 med can V-8 juice
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp Basil
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 can string beans, undrained
1 can corn

Brown hamburger & onions.
Add rest of ingredients.
Cook on top of stove or in the oven for 2 hours at 350.

I do this all the time in my crockpot but you need to leave out some of the liquid because it won't fit! Still works great.
