4 1/2 T. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. boiling water
3 egg whites
3/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
semi-sweet chocolate
1 baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cornstarch and 3/4 c. sugar in saucepan. Gradually add boiling water. Cook until mixture becomes clear, stirring constantly. Set aside.
Beat egg whites and salt until very stiff. Add 3 T. sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
Pour hot cornstarch mixture over egg white slowly - blend. Allow mixture to cool slightly and pour into baked pie shell. Cool. Serve with whipped cream and sprinkle grated semi-sweet chocolate on top.
