1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
4 T. corn starch
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. boiling water
1 quart fresh strawberries (halved)
1 c. heavy cream whipped
A few whole strawberries decorating top of pie
Directions:
Directions:
Combine gelatin, corn starch, and sugar gradually with boiling water. Mix thoroughly and heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, cool, and chill in refrigerator. When mixture begins to thicken, add strawberries and place in baked pie shell. Chill in refrigerator until firm. Just before serving, cover with whipped cream and garnish with whole strawberries.

Filling for 1 large pie or 2 small ones.
