Directions:
Put into top part of double boiler:
2 unbeaten egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
Few grains of salt
1/3 c. cold water
2 tsp. light corn syrup

Beat with rotary egg beater or electric beater at medium speed about 1 minute or until well mixed. Place over boiling water. Cook 7 minutes or until frosting will stand in stiff peaks when beater is pulled out. Using a spoon or rubber scraper, scrape frosting from sides and bottom of pan now and then. Remove from boiling water; add 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat about 1 minute, or until thick enough to spread.
