Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 box strawberry cake mix
3 cups fresh sliced strawberries
2 Tbs. cognac
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3 oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
Fresh strawberries for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
1, Preheat to 350º

2. Make the cake as per directions on the box. Use a 9x13 pan.

3. Remove from oven and cool completely. Meanwhile, combine strawberries, cognac & sugar in a medium bowl. Let sit for 20 minutes.

4. Whip the cream with the confectioners sugar and vanilla at medium-high speed til it reaches stiff peaks.

5. Mix gelatin as directed on box. Refrigerate gelatin, but don't let it harden - it should cool to a liquid consistency.

6. Using a straw, poke holes all over the cake. Pour gelatin into the holes and spread over the top of the cake.

7. Spread the strawberry cognac mixture on top of the cake. Spread the whipped cream on top of that and garnish with fresh strawberries. Refrigerate at least four hours.
