4 pork chops
2 T margarine
6 oz. long grain & wild rice mix
1 3/4 C apple juice
4 slices Swiss cheese
1/4 cup raisins
1 lg. apple- pared, cored, and thinly sliced
1/4 tsp sage
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Brown pork chops in margarine over medium heat. Remove chops. Combine rice, apple juice, raisins and spices to skillet. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Add pork chops and cover. Simmer for 25 minutes or until water is mostly absorbed and the rice is tender. Top pork chops with apple slices and cheese. Cover and cook an additional 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
