1 lb. hamburger
2 cans seasoned diced tomatoes
1 can peas
2 large onions
1 jar mushrooms
3 C cooked macaroni
Velveeta cheese slices
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger, onions, and mushrooms. Drain off grease and season to taste. Stir in tomatoes. Layer 1/2 macaroni in large casserole pan then meat mixture then drained peas. Top with remaining macaroni. Arrange cheese slices over top of macaroni. Cover with lid and bake at 350 until cheese melts.

My Grammy Taylor received a Blue Ribbon for this dish at the 1984 Indiana State Fair! I make it often, but usually substitute 2 boxes of prepared mac-n-cheese in place of the macaroni noodles!
