1 1/4 cups boiling water
1 cup oats
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs (well beaten)
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Topping:
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup cream (Pet0
1 cup brown sugar
1 can angel coconut flakes
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes.

Boil water, pour over oatmeal and cover, let stand 20 minutes.

Now, mix oats and all ingredients together. Pour in greased, floured baking dish.

Topping: Melt butter, simmer all rest of ingredients on stove top. Do this right before cake is to come out.

Turn oven off, turn broiler on. Spread topping on top of cake, place under broiler, lightly brown, take out and let cool.
