Olive oil
Chopped white onion
Chopped garlic
2 cans crushed tomato (or use fresh tomato, blanched to remove skin and then crushed)
1 can chopped clams, including juice
Oregano
Parsley
Basil
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and garlic in olive oil. Add tomato, clams and clam juice. Add salt, pepper and herbs to taste. Basil is best, little bit of oregano and parsley-- they're all good. Simmer on low heat about half an hour. While sauce is cooking, boil water for pasta. Pasta should be al dente-- don't overcook. Serve with crushed red pepper and grated parmesan cheese. In fact, a few flakes of crushed red pepper is good while you are cooking the sauce.
