2 tbsp sugar.
1 tbsp cornstarch.
1/2 c water:
Add water to dry ingredients in small saucepan and cook until thick and clear. Set aside to cool.
3 egg whites.
Pinch of salt.
1/4 tsp cream of tartar.

Directions:
Directions:
Place egg whites in a bowl and whip until foamy. Add 6 tbsp of sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Gradually beat in the cooled cornstarch mixture. Spread on top of pie filling and bake at 350º for 20 minutes.
