Directions: |
Directions:Open the pantry doors and stock the shelves with the assorted goodies. (Make sure you put them high enough that the younger generation must "ask" for any particular treat.) Make sure that there are always a wide variety of snacks available. Feel free to use suggestions of family members to keep the pantry treat friendly.
The coffee can is for all your change, useful for card games, teaching children coin values after school, and inspiration for children to save money for special things. |

Notes: No matter the time of day or day of the week, you could always count on Dolly's cupboard to be stocked with a wide variety of goodies and treats. The cupboard was never bare and that's a fact I can testify to. It was as if it were stocked by magic, because you never saw Dolly do it. Whenever you visited, there were always a good supply of treats. The goodies were always the ones family loved to eat, and everyone did. Dolly knew that her meals were important, and very filling. But she also knew that we needed to "take a treat" once and awhile, and knew exactly what everyone liked. The can of coins was another of Dolly's great ideas... and it was always full too....
